Two Sunday services each week. The 9:30 AM gathering leans traditional — pipe organ, choir, and a printed liturgy. The 11:15 AM service is acoustic and conversational. The sermon and Scripture readings are the same at both.
Every Wednesday at 7:00 PM in the fellowship hall. We read one chapter at a time, slowly, with discussion. No prior knowledge required and no homework assigned. We're currently working through the Gospel of Luke.
A six-week class offered twice a year (spring and fall) for anyone considering membership or just wanting a grounded introduction to the Christian faith. Led personally by Francis Morrison.
Our small choir rehearses Thursday evenings and sings most Sundays. The contemporary worship team (acoustic guitar, piano, light percussion) practices Saturday mornings. Both welcome new voices.
Staffed by two background-checked volunteers at every service. Quiet toys, books, and a rocking chair for nursing parents.
Meets during the 11:15 service. Each week the children hear the same Scripture passage as the adults, taught at their level, with a craft and a snack to take home.
Pizza at 6:30 PM, an hour of conversation about Scripture and real life, then board games or a walk to Clark Park. Led by the Reyes family with a rotating team of adult mentors.
One full week each July, free and open to the neighborhood. Stories, music, lunch, and a hand-painted T-shirt for every child. About 60 kids attend each year.
Coordinated by our deacons. We bring two weeks of home-cooked meals to any household welcoming a baby, recovering from surgery, or grieving a loss — member or not.
A team of seven volunteers makes weekly visits to housebound members and neighbors, bringing groceries, a meal, and unhurried company.
Four Saturdays a year, we sweep, paint over graffiti, and tend the strips of grass along the chapel block. Anyone can join. Trash bags and gloves provided.
From November through March we keep a small closet of clean winter coats, hats, and gloves in every adult size, available to anyone who stops in during office hours.
Roughly a third of our members speak Spanish at home. Sermon notes are translated each week, and we host a Spanish-language Bible study on Thursday evenings.
